Where does the information stop?

The best first message describes the systems involved, the handoff causing the problem, and what should happen instead.

The first message

Plain language is enough.

A useful inquiry explains the systems, the recurring event, the current manual burden, and what should happen instead.

01

Systems involved

Applications, spreadsheets, inboxes, files, databases, portals, or manual records.

02

Starting event

What begins the workflow and which record should be authoritative.

03

Current burden

What someone copies, rebuilds, checks, chases, or corrects by hand.

04

Desired result

What should happen instead and why the business consequence matters.

Do not send passwords, secrets, or sensitive customer records in the first message.

01

What to include in the first message

Technical terminology is not required. Describe the work in plain language and name the software or documents when you know them.

  • Business name and primary contact
  • The applications, spreadsheets, inboxes, or files involved
  • What event starts the workflow
  • What someone has to copy, rebuild, chase, or check by hand
  • What should happen instead
  • Whether the problem affects customers, payments, scheduling, reporting, or another critical outcome

02

What happens next

Results Innovations will determine whether the request appears to fit a short conversation, a paid Integration Check, or a different path. No production access or implementation is assumed from the initial contact.

When an Integration Check is appropriate, the price, selected workflow, required participation, and expected deliverable are confirmed before it begins.

03

Email

Current project inquiries route through [email protected] while the branded intake path is being finalized. Use the subject ‘Results Innovations Integration Check’ so the request is easy to identify.

04

Service area

Results Innovations is based in East Texas and is available for remote software integration work. Local and remote feasibility depends on the systems, access requirements, and stakeholder availability.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the first conversation free?

A brief fit conversation may be used to determine the next step. Technical inspection, workflow mapping, and solution definition belong in the paid Integration Check unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Should we send passwords or customer data?

No. Do not send passwords, secrets, or sensitive customer data in the first message. Access and data handling must be defined through an appropriate controlled method.

Can you sign an NDA?

Confidentiality requirements can be discussed before sensitive operational or technical information is shared. The agreement must be appropriate to the project and parties.

Start with one handoff

Describe the broken handoff.

Email the systems, current manual step, and desired outcome to begin the fit review.
